In 2009, two friends, united by their passion for surfing, decided to found SeventyOne Percent. Their goal was to develop sun protection products that not only meet the specific needs of athletes but are also environmentally friendly.

SeventyOne Percent products are characterized by their natural formulations. They contain ingredients such as karanja oil, shea butter, and coconut oil, which protect the skin from harmful UV rays. The brand avoids parabens, oxybenzone, and nanoparticles to ensure effective yet gentle care. The brand manufactures and packages its products in France to support the local economy and environment.

"We are all SEVENTYONE PERCENT." This motto reflects the SeventyOne Percent philosophy: 70% of the Earth's surface is covered with water, just like 70% of our bodies. And 1% of sales are donated to the Surfrider Foundation to protect the oceans.
