SMOOTH SKIN STARTS HERE
BODY SCRUBS – FOR SMOOTH AND SUPPLE SKIN
Body scrubs complement daily body care by removing dead skin cells from the surface and making rough patches appear smoother and more supple. Our selection combines natural cosmetics and modern clean beauty with various scrub textures and nourishing ingredients.
From classic body scrubs to solid exfoliating soap, you will find various ways to regularly exfoliate your skin and prepare it for subsequent care with body oil, lotion, or cream.
HOW DOES A BODY SCRUB WORK?
Mechanical body scrubs work with fine particles that remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin when massaged in. The skin can feel smoother and softer immediately after application and may appear more even.
Depending on the formulation, the exfoliating components are combined with plant-based oils and other nourishing ingredients. This allows you to combine exfoliation and body care during use.
Particularly rough or dry areas such as elbows, knees, and lower legs can benefit from regular—but not too frequent—exfoliation.
BODY SCRUB OR EXFOLIATING SOAP?
Classic body scrubs are applied to damp skin and massaged in with circular movements. Depending on the texture, they can be formulated to be more nourishing or more intensively exfoliating.
An exfoliating soap, on the other hand, combines cleansing and mechanical exfoliation in one product. It is particularly suitable for uncomplicated use in the shower and can be used specifically on rougher areas of the body.
Both concepts are represented in your current selection.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU EXFOLIATE YOUR BODY?
How often a body scrub is useful depends on your skin and the intensity of the product. For many skin types, application once or twice a week is sufficient. Sensitive or very dry skin should be exfoliated less often and very gently.
It is important not to use strong pressure. A scrub should remove dead skin cells—intense rubbing does not automatically lead to better results.
After exfoliating, applying a body lotion, body cream, or body oil is a great way to provide the skin with moisture and nourishing lipids.
BODY SCRUBS FOR INGROWN HAIRS
Regular, gentle exfoliation can also be beneficial for areas of skin that are shaved or epilated. By removing dead skin cells, the surface of the skin can be kept smoother.
However, I would refrain from using a mechanical scrub directly after shaving or on already irritated skin, and instead give the skin time to calm down first.
NATURAL BODY SCRUBS & CLEAN BEAUTY
Our selection combines natural cosmetics with modern clean beauty and various types of mechanical exfoliation. For us, the key is not the most intensive exfoliation possible, but a formula that combines exfoliation with a pleasant skin feel.
Whether it’s a classic body scrub or a solid exfoliating soap, the products can be easily integrated into your existing shower and body care routine.
In short: Body scrubs and exfoliating soaps remove dead skin cells, smooth out rough patches, and prepare the skin for subsequent body care.
