OIO LAB combines botanical ingredients with modern skin research. The Polish brand develops and produces its skincare in its own laboratory—from the initial idea to the finished product. At its core are carefully designed formulations whose effectiveness is verified through studies demonstrating measurable changes in the skin.

OIO LAB was founded in 2018 by Joanna Ryglewicz. Although she originally studied law, she had long been passionate about plant extracts, cosmetic active ingredients, and scientific discoveries. Her work in the beauty industry fueled her desire to make her own decisions about ingredients, manufacturing processes, and quality. She invested in her own laboratory, laying the foundation for an independent skincare brand.

Today, a scientific team led by Dr. Anna Bobkowska develops the formulations. Their work brings together expertise in skin biology, biotechnology, and the study of botanical ingredients. For selected projects, OIO LAB collaborates with universities and research institutions. This work also led to the development of the brand’s own preservative system based on naturally derived ingredients.

From hydrating serums and facial oils to skincare for hormonally driven skin changes, the product range addresses a variety of skin needs. Every product is shaped by the combination of botanical expertise, technical curiosity, and in-house manufacturing. As an independently run company, OIO LAB continues to invest in research and laboratory development—creating skincare based on long-term knowledge and meticulous development.
