UV FILTER
A modern filter system consisting of Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Ethylhexyl Triazone, and Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid provides very high broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB radiation.
NIACINAMIDE (VITAMIN B3)
Strengthens the skin barrier, has an anti-inflammatory effect, and can alleviate redness and pigment spots. It also stimulates the production of ceramides, which make the skin more resilient and reduce moisture loss. It is particularly useful in sunscreens as it counteracts UV-induced hyperpigmentation and soothes irritated skin.
SODIUM HYALURONATE (HYALURON)
Binds moisture in the skin and provides a slight plumping effect. As the salt form of hyaluronic acid, its smaller molecular size allows it to penetrate somewhat deeper into the upper skin layers. A single molecule can bind many times its own weight in water, making the skin appear plumper and smoother.
GLYCERIN
A classic moisturizer that retains water in the skin. It draws moisture from the surrounding environment and from deeper skin layers into the stratum corneum and locks it there. Glycerin is one of the most well-researched cosmetic ingredients, is extremely well-tolerated, and is also suitable for sensitive skin.
TOCOPHEROL (VITAMIN E)
An antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals – a useful addition to UV protection. Free radicals are primarily generated by UV radiation and accelerate skin aging, a process that Vitamin E can counteract. Additionally, it stabilizes the oils in the formula and supports the skin's own regeneration.
BETA-CAROTENE
Provitamin A and antioxidant – protects against oxidative stress and can provide a fresh complexion. It is the natural orange-red pigment found in carrots and other vegetables. In the skin, it is converted into Vitamin A as needed, which supports cell renewal. Furthermore, it can protect the skin from photoaging and give it a slightly warm, healthy glow.
