UV FILTER
A combination of modern organic UV filters that together provide reliable broadband protection against UVA and UVB radiation. The filters are photostable, water-resistant, and, thanks to their large molecules, barely penetrate the skin – they are therefore considered particularly safe and well-tolerated. In contrast to older filters such as oxybenzone or octocrylene, they show no hormonal effect and thus protect the skin from sunburn, premature skin aging, and pigment spots.
SUNFLOWER OIL (HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SEED OIL)
Rich in linoleic acid, strengthens the skin barrier. Linoleic acid is a natural building block of the skin and helps reduce moisture loss. The oil absorbs quickly and leaves no heavy feeling on the skin.
SHEA BUTTER (BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER) Rich, nourishing care, makes the skin supple and protects against dehydration. It naturally contains vitamins and fatty acids that nourish and regenerate the skin. Its protective film makes it ideal for products that need to withstand wind, sun, and cold.
CASTOR OIL (RICINUS COMMUNIS SEED OIL)
Viscous oil, provides adhesion and a nourishing film. It gives the product smoothness and a subtle shine on the skin. At the same time, it improves the adhesion of the UV filters, keeping the protection on the skin longer.
JOJOBA OIL (SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS SEED OIL)
Similar to the skin's natural sebum, it absorbs well. Chemically speaking, it is actually a liquid wax that keeps the skin supple without clogging pores. It regulates the skin's feel and is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
SQUALANE
Very light, skin-identical lipid, moisturizes without greasiness. It naturally occurs in the skin's own sebum and is therefore particularly well absorbed. Squalane smooths the skin surface and leaves a silky, non-sticky finish.
TOCOPHEROL (VITAMIN E)
Antioxidant, protects against free radicals and stabilizes oils. Free radicals are primarily caused by UV radiation and accelerate skin aging. Vitamin E thus complements UV protection and simultaneously keeps the plant oils in the formula fresh.
CERA ALBA (BEESWAX)
Makes the product firm and forms a protective film on the skin. Beeswax locks in moisture and protects against external influences such as wind and cold. It is the reason for the "not vegan" note on the product.
CANDELILLA CERA (CANDELILLA WAX)
Vegetable wax, additionally provides stability and shine. It is obtained from the leaves of the Mexican Candelilla shrub and makes the texture firm but supple. On the skin, it leaves a delicate, protective film with a slight sheen.
BRASSICA CAMPESTRIS/ALEURITES FORDI OIL COPOLYMER Vegetable polymer from rapeseed and tung oil, provides water resistance and hold. It forms a flexible net on the skin that keeps the UV filters evenly in place. This ensures that sun protection remains effective longer, even with sweating or water contact.
