UV FILTERS
The combination of modern organic UV filters offers high broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB radiation. The formula uses Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, and Ethylhexyl Triazone, and is free from oxybenzone, octocrylene, octinoxate, and homosalate.
SUNFLOWER OIL
Sunflower oil is rich in linoleic acid and provides the lips with nourishing lipids. It supports the natural skin barrier and helps reduce moisture loss.
SHEA BUTTER
Shea butter provides dry lips with nourishing fatty acids and helps reduce moisture loss. It promotes a soft and supple feel on the lips.
CASTOR OIL
Castor oil is a rich plant oil that forms a nourishing film on the lips and contributes to a smooth texture and a subtle shine.
JOJOBA OIL
Similar to the skin’s own sebum, it absorbs well. Chemically, it is actually a liquid wax that keeps the skin supple without clogging pores. It regulates skin feel and is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
SQUALANE
Squalane is a light, skin-compatible lipid that keeps lips supple and supports their natural lipid barrier. It provides a silky skin feel without being heavy or sticky.
TOCOPHEROL (VITAMIN E)
An antioxidant that protects against free radicals and stabilizes the oils. Free radicals are primarily caused by UV radiation and accelerate skin aging. Vitamin E thus complements the UV protection while keeping the plant oils in the formula fresh.
BEESWAX
Beeswax gives the balm structure and forms a protective film on the lips. It helps reduce moisture loss and keeps the lips supple.
CANDELILLA WAX
A plant-based wax that provides additional stability and shine. It is obtained from the leaves of the Mexican candelilla shrub and makes the texture firm yet supple. It leaves a delicate, protective film with a slight shine on the skin.
BRASSICA CAMPESTRIS/ALEURITES FORDI OIL COPOLYMER
A film-forming ingredient based on plant oils that contributes to the smooth texture, adhesion, and water resistance of the formula.
