UV FILTERS
A modern filter system consisting of Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Ethylhexyl Triazone, and Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid provides high broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB radiation.
ALOE VERA
Aloe Vera supports skin hydration and is valued for its soothing and skin-conditioning properties.
NIACINAMIDE (VITAMIN B3)
Strengthens the skin barrier, has an anti-inflammatory effect, and can reduce redness and pigment spots. It also stimulates the production of ceramides, which make the skin more resilient and reduce moisture loss. It is particularly useful in sunscreens as it counteracts UV-induced hyperpigmentation and soothes irritated skin.
SODIUM HYALURONATE (HYALURON)
Binds moisture in the skin and provides a light plumping effect. It is the salt form of hyaluronic acid, which, due to its smaller molecular size, can penetrate slightly deeper into the upper layers of the skin. One molecule can bind many times its own weight in water, making the skin appear plumper and smoother.
GLYCERIN
A classic moisturizer that retains water in the skin. It draws moisture from the environment and from deeper layers of the skin into the stratum corneum and holds it there. Glycerin is one of the best-researched cosmetic ingredients; it is extremely well-tolerated and suitable for sensitive skin.
TOCOPHEROL (VITAMIN E)
An antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals – a sensible addition to UV protection. Free radicals are primarily generated by UV radiation and accelerate skin aging, which Vitamin E can neutralize. Additionally, it stabilizes the oils in the formula and supports the skin's own regeneration.
HYALURONIC ACID
Binds moisture in the skin and provides a light plumping effect. Especially after sun exposure, aloe has a cooling effect and supports the soothing of slightly irritated skin.
SUNFLOWER OIL & JOJOBA ESTERS
Nourishing lipids that support the skin barrier. Sunflower oil is rich in linoleic acid, a building block of the skin barrier, and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. Jojoba esters resemble the skin's natural sebum, allowing them to be absorbed particularly well and keeping the skin supple.
RICE STARCH
Mattifies and ensures a dry, non-sticky skin feel. The fine starch particles absorb excess oil and sweat on the skin's surface. This makes the cream particularly pleasant for combination or oily skin and prevents unwanted shine on the face.
MICA + IRON OXIDE (CI 77491)
Provides a light tint/shimmer. Mica is a natural mineral that reflects light and gives the skin a more even, fresh appearance. The reddish iron oxide pigment balances out the whitish veil that sunscreens can leave behind and ensures a more natural skin tone.
